Little boys play with Transformers .. Bigger boys play with Nintendo Switches.
I haven't really gamed online in a long time. I'd play more if they brought back MILFenstein 3D!
As soon as I saw the picture. I had a good idea of what I wanted to do with it. Had to cut the photo down a bit, and then plot out the flow and location of the paragraphs, which can be an issue when you are doing text on image captions. Here's the original picture so you can see it for contrast, especially since it led to the last paragraph, and how I wanted to end the caption.
There were two reasons why I cropped the picture .. one was that I wasn't planning on writing too much for this caption. I figured I had enough space to chop out the whole left side which was superfluous in the grand scheme of things. The other reason is, I wanted the image to be visceral in nature, very much draw your attention to what I wanted the readers to focus in upon and frame the story around it. In this case, the Nintendo Switch, her ass, thighs and hose. Hopefully everyone now understands why I made the choices I took and how it affects the finished caption.
I figured it was going to be a blog exclusive, as when I went through the trade area on the Haven, there didn't seem to be that many young gamers there .. so I went to Discord, where I offered to have someone star in the caption, sort of like what I will do here from time to time. Within the hour, I had my victim .. I mean, the protagonist .. someone who is sort of new to me, and the one who invited me to join the TG stories and captions channel on Discord itself. I think it's a channel, right Gloria? LOL
It is so interesting to know that there's a bunch of people that are making "captions" now that don't actually involve the way we think about captions, in which a self-contained file contains both an image and a story made of text. People are posting pictures on Twitter with the text contained within the tweet. There's some other formats as well. I think I'm sticking with what I know for the time being. Do many of you out there follow TG Captioners on Twitter for content as well, or do other forms of technology in your quest for TG stories / images / captions / videos etc .. ??
I listen to this occasionally as it's still on my media player that I use every night. Kudos to the original programmer. Who doesn't want a NES 8 bit version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon?
I prefer the format of captions you use. As to caption, of course I like it. Now the pillow thing, gosh lucky new girl getting to figure it all out for herself. Never played nintendo switch.
ReplyDeleteI never really understood the whole pillow thing. It makes it hard to sit down on a couch or lay down on a bed! It's definitely a real thing though!
DeleteMaybe I need to start playing these video games and hope for a switch! Zoe
ReplyDeleteThere's a high definition Nintendo Switch coming out. Maybe we should wait until THAT one drops!
DeleteOn a side note, I haven't had a new Nintendo system since Nintendo 64 and the dual screen Game Boy. In general, I tend to go with Xbox.
