Reggie Is NOT Buying the Whole Hypnosis Thing!

Madame Mentia says you have click on the picture to come inside and enjoy the caption!

Made this for Karen Sue as I hadn't created one for her for a few months, and this picture had a few qualities in it that I knew she'd find pleasing. The things that drew me to it were the slouching posture she had, very guy like in my opinion, and how she was positioning her hands.

Right from there, I had my hook as I thought that she was saying, "if it wasn't for my wet nails, I'd kick your ass right now!" Just needed to get to that point in the story, so I worked backwards slightly.

Of course, you know me. I love a good oblivious story line and nothing can support that better than hypnosis. Throw in some compulsions and I'm always ready to read whatever you've got for me that fits though two things. Snappy dialog is something I'm known for, so to me this is a home run, even though it covers no new real ground. It just walks that fine line in red stilettos!

I actually got some time on Friday and Saturday to do some captioning! YAY! I think I am now 2-3 captions ahead, though those will be posted soon enough! Maybe I can try to keep that pace up in the next month or two and we'll be good going into the Halloween season!

DISCUSSION QUESTION: If you could actually be hypnotized the way people can be in TG captions, what sort of situation would you want to get involved in? Would it be a stage hypnotist, or a clinical hypno-therapist? Maybe a wife, family member or co-worker accidentally (or on purpose) put you under and changed you somehow? I am curious to find out about others fantasies when it comes to hypnosis. Perhaps it will give me some new caption ideas, which will star YOU if I find it juicy enough to use!

  1. Um, it's me KarenSue. As I said in the Haven, I love a good oblivious caption, especially when they defend the aspects of femininity not deny them

  2. I too love oblivious captions with compulsions, as you know. And I think this caption is a clever one.

If it were me in such a situation... Hmm, so many ideas and methods.

I think a GF who deliberately put me under, but didn't expect it to be as deep, and then sort of gets carried away whilst I continually carry on as if nothing is different whilst being slowly transformed into a lesbian lover who is increasingly less cynical and worldly-wise.

Or, perhaps, a hypno-therapist who decides regression (minimally, not like baby) is the means to deal with stress and, waht, with women being expected to work lower paid jobs (apparently less stressful, ahem) then it seemed like a good idea to do it that way - like with Chandler in friends but with increased obliviousness and more dropping of skills.

I'm also a fan of evil intent, like a dominant woman using hypnosis to remove skills (not like making a bimbo) such as the ability to read or talk without permission as well as transforming into a maid or somesuch to make money for her cleaning business. Maybe an accidental attempt to 'fix' things for a prospective GF who then is confronted with an unwanted feminised male and who then, politely, has to employ them to assuage guilt whilst the subject, oblivious, wrestles with the idea of being 'in love' with their employer - knowing it can never be requited.

Or the well-meaning female friend who hypnotises me at University to embrace who I really am and to seize opportunities only to accidentally unlock a confident, almost dominant but not quite, playful woman who goes clubbing and works as hard as she plays. The sort of female student who is almost bound to get a first, as well as a string of lovers (mainly female) between whom she can take her pick whilst always being the one holding the party - the sort who leaves University with connections and a full book of numbers of useful people to call, able to follow whatever passion comes her way. A happy ending, sort of, with this one. Lots of fun compulsions you can put in this one to balance it out too, like having to give all extra money to charity or be too distracted with make-up and new clothes to fully grasp that extra opportunity or perfect love affair.

Sci-fi hypnosis mingled with time travel is one of my favourites too. Hypnosis to change behaviour and self-image to fit in with past societies to study them properly and unobtrusively. Except there's a mix up and the system accidentally hypnotises me to be a female member of Middle Ages Europe or Tudor England or Renaissance Europe or Border Reiver country (1558-1603) or the First World War or Carthage or Rome or Late Antiquity Norway or Saxon Britain etc etc with all that this entails. The custom-based compulsions would be fun to play with along with the obliviousness of the subject to what they were being forced to do, what they did out of fitting in and what was actually them.

Speaking of sci-fi time-travel, there's also the option of far-future or even just alien civilisation. And, in this case, the 'mix-up' might not be so 'accidental' either. Or fantasy, throw in a dragon or threat from orcs and a subject ends up being all cross-dressed and feminine whilst rousing the townsfolk/people of a nation and leading a totally non-historical uprising/defence/coup etc.

Hmm, idea-sleet. I must meditate further...

    1. So glad I got you all excited for the discussion. I'm sure I can work at least with something you wrote down! What was the male name you wish to use again? I would assume that Joanna is fine after the transformation.

    2. Excellent! I'm still sleeting on this and there's so many different avenues. Let's stick with Pete(r) for male name to keep things simple! And thank you!

I was ruminating on cultural changes too, and there's so many compulsions you can ladle on there even without changing 'race' category. Any 'race' has so many cultures and differences, all of which some with their own unique visions of femininity outside of the WASP ideal so prevalent in US-centric culture (itself derived from a peculiarly Western European perspective). Contrast, say, Catholic Poland with 'liberal' Netherlands or cosmopolitan Belgium with anywhere in the Balkans. Or Greek cultural ideals contrast with southern France with northern France - and that's all without leaving Europe! I'm sure there are similar things one could do with states in the US without even having to cross borders. Amish! The Amish! Being hypnotised to find 'simpler' pleasures but it misfires, wrong pronoun usage or catching a glimpse of a poster at the point of hearing a trigger, and you end up joining the Amish in their community with their very proscribed tradition of femininity - oblivious to the fact that you aren't in fact a female and raising a family that is not your own (like Goldie Hawn(sp) in 'Overboard' that, looking back, was just abuse but at the time was just so much brain-food for fantasies). Mind you, I suspect that this chimes with the time-travel sci-fi thing but without sci-fi tech involved.

You could even string something together into a travelogue series of caps... Or even a whole universe like the others I recall but, apparently, can't name right now from Fictionmania (and, presumably, from before it).

      So exciting!

  3. years ago when I was getting my hair cut an individual came in. She was clearly transitioning, wanted a co-ed's style and was askng all sorts of questions about how to maintain it.

Since then I've always thought I'd like to have the stylist hypnotize me and suggest a really feminine style I would enthusiastically agree to. Then I'd head next door to the nail salon for french tips...all while I was thinking everything was normal.

A different fantasy would be traveling for work with one of my female co-workers who would hypnotize me into going to the spa with her in preparation for going out to a dance club as a hot sexy woman

    Luv your caps...

    1. Thanks for your reply! Glad you enjoy my work.

A beauty salon seems so much different than a barber shop that I agree that would be a great place for it to happen. I used to go to a salon because I had very long hair and my mom knew the hair dresser very well. Them conspiring to make me femme would have been an interesting conundrum, let me tell you! LOL

The irony in this discussion is that there are quite a few women that have this fantasy in the reverse. Ending up with a barber instead of a hair dresser and having their head shaved, or spiky thin mullet or mohawk in fictional stories. I can't recall this particular story, but the barber gave her a straight razor shave and she ended up growing a beard, etc ..

  4. I have seen many of these captions but they never fail to please. I would so misuse that power if I had it. I like the theme when the guy thinks he is the one in control trying to change a wife 0r girlfriend etc but its all kicking back to him. or of course the victim has brief moments of clarity before going under again.

    1. I am sure at some point I would get sick of it, but my meter is nowhere near the limits so far, especially if it is well written and composed.
