Ab Fab Drag Oops!

That damn Jenkins .. messing everything up again .. or did he?

I wanted to try something different, and hopefully drive some people to the blog here. I posted this caption a day earlier on Deviant Art, and figured it'd be a nice incentive to get them to come to Deelusions of Grandeur, since they tend to get captions posted that are at least 4 years or more removed from their original uploading here. What I said there was this ..

From RIGHT NOW! I decided to actually post a caption here before I put it up on my blog tomorrow (Sunday) night. It was one of those instant caption moments where I saw the image on Pinterest and thought .. it's pop culture enough that I can work with it, and I can show that sometimes Mistress Dee can make mistakes ..and that mistake is to NOT let Jenkins have any real responsibilities!

From the moment I saw the picture until it was done, I spent maybe 12 minutes on it. Figured an unpolished final version of the caption would be in line with the plot to be perfectly honest. And I also can't think of a better drag queen persona to base someone's brainwash programming upon than that of Patsy.

Since there's about 24 hours or so before it goes up on my blog, it'd be nice to get a few comments here. How about .. what do you think are the Mount Rushmore personas to base a drag queen upon? I don't want to influence anyone else so I'll post mine tomorrow night on the blog .. see you there!

And for everyone just seeing this post right now, I'll definitely take your Mount Rushmore here in the comments section below as well.

Mine are probably considered classics, but Elvira is definitely number one. I'd have to have Dolly Parton as the runner-up. Lily Von Stupp from Blazing Saddles would be a lot of fun, and I guess that would have to include Marlene Dietrich since that is how Lily is based on. And I guess that the 4th would have to be Madonna, because there are so many different eras that you could go with .. and not in a Taylor Swift sort of way. I personally would rather be Cyndi Lauper than Madonna, but I can't deny Madonna's sway on pop culture for nigh on 40 years.
