Is there anything more glorious than the annual SantaCon in New York City and elsewhere? Yes, it's literally just a pub crawl, but with people dressed up like Santa and other Christmas characters .. getting drunk and passing out on the sidewalks, maybe puking before they do. Merry Christmas everyone!
I swear that I've done a caption based on SantaCon before, but I can't seem to find it in my files, or on this blog either. Soooooo, I'm forging new ground! Yay me! I know I've done stripper Xmas captions though, so maybe I deserve half a Yay instead? I'm still enjoying it anyway!
I can remember the 80's being a big time for the portrayal of drunk and dirty Santa Clauses. Like Dan Ackroyd in Trading Places and on Night Court as well as many other sitcoms. Perhaps the turning point came after Bad Santa, where pop culture decided to try to rehabilitate Old Saint Nick into something more wholesome again.
Of course, naughty Santa still lives on in porn videos, which always makes me smile. You get it while you can, jolly fat man!
I would **SO** love to rock one of those red velvet helper dresses with the white fur trim if I had the figure....
