Can I use an innocent piece of stock photography and make it kinky as hell? I'm going to try!
I mean, anyone can take some sort of pornography and write a sexy little blurb about it and turn it into a caption, but what about something that's made to be purchased by advertisers or "normal" bloggers?
The hardest part was finding one that no longer had all the watermarks on it, so when I found something I thought I could work with, I had to hunt one down that was used on a commercial site. That one didn't work, and the same thing happened for the next one I looked at, but the third time was a charm!
What made it even better is the saleswoman's name is Quincy, which I usually think of as a guy's name, so why not work it into the caption as well!
The only other issue I had was that it was quite a wide picture, and I didn't think there was enough room to place the dialog on top of the image, so instead I went with the text above and below the picture. I don't think it hurts the caption at all. I had thought about moving the photo up a bit to match the point where the clerk is ringing up the shoes, but where I put it does delineate where it goes from "loving and accepting" to kinkier and domination. That was my consideration for why I placed it where it ended up, just in case anyone was wondering why it ended up there.
Hopefully it took you by surprise, at least a little bit. I love the juxtaposition of such a benign image with a conversation that wouldn't be expected to be had there at the register. I'd like to think that there was an older lady behind her that was like, "Oh! I'd love to give you pointers. My husband has been in chastity for 16 years now this coming Sunday!" You know, stuff that happens every day in small town all over the world? Or maybe to other people at least!

Stock photos are a well of inspiration, even if they're far too costly to use. I remember years ago, before I was a TG captioner, or even before I wrote any stories, I think, I used to browse stock photo sites and just come up with TG premises in my head based on them. In fact, it was a stock photo I saw years ago that inspired my most recent story.

If there is a stock image I'd like to use, I'll often do some reverse image searches, as there's often blogs that will actually buy the stock photos, or at least have a license, and they'll use the image without the watermarks. That's how I found this one.
DeleteGlad to see that you'd use them for your own imagination. I'd do that with old magazines that my mom or aunts would leave for her. Sears Catalog worked well too, but that is definitely before your time I think!
Yeah, the Quincy name tag definitely elevated the picture for me!
