Just a cute little caption that perhaps you can picture the scenario happening to yourself, especially in your younger days. My daughter has always been into skateboarding, and has been sponsored by a few companies in the scene, so I thought about that when I came across this picture. I've always made sure that she had pink Chuck Taylor Converse sneakers since she was like 3 years old. I collect them too, even though I prefer high tops, and she likes the low tops or slips. It's always been a thing in the Mentia household going way back.
Other than that, it's a standard "changing in the moment" caption that I think most people can enjoy, and it has a Totalditz / Ashlee type vibe, even though she doesn't usually write much involving magic .. which is what I'm assuming is happening here. I guess it could be some sort of hypnosis, when he went out wearing female clothing, and the awareness finally reached him, as his mind created the scenario that the hypnotist had programmed into him. Maybe you have some other ideas you can leave in the comment section below? Also, how did this entire thing happen, and what comes next?
For all I know, the protagonist of the caption ran into a wicked witch or another fairy tale character!
I like the ambiguous nature of the cap, it's a great scenario!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was trying to keep it vague enough for most people to enjoy it, but still pull you into it. Looking at it now, I probably should have rotated the picture 180 degrees to make it fit a POV view even better, though I'm not sure the story would have flowed the same way.

DeleteDespite never owning a pair, I do have a bit of a soft spot for Converse trainers. I think they look fab. And your daughter sounds amazing. Also, good at skateboarding, I know the Mentias are cool, but this lifts it to a whole other level!
