Damien's Samhain Awakening! I Remember Halloween!

There's more than one way to defuse evil in your local community!

Made this one for myself a few minutes ago. Had another post but, even though it deals with Halloween, doesn't necessarily FEEL like Halloween .. so I'll post that one tomorrow or Sunday.

Anyway, I'd had this model saved for a number of years for me to caption for myself, but I hadn't really used it or even came up with a scenario to place with it. Then I thought I could knock myself down a few pegs, and then the picture seemed to work better. I did have to place her into a background though. I didn't want a huge amount of white in the caption, and the picture originally was this.

As you can see, way too much negative space. I went around and hunted around until I found a pastoral graveyard, cut, pasted and cropped her in as best I could. I am hoping I got the proportions right in regards to where she is standing, etc ... I just think it really adds to the caption to fill in all that "nothing" and bring in a bit more color. Look, its a girl doing stuff, but in a void!

Anyway, original plan was to just have me say, "Twick or Tweet!" in a cutesy voice while the other two talked about me and how powerless I was now, under their control, etc .. But I thought about the "Rule of Three" which I'll just take from Google and edit as a definition. "The Rule of Three (also Three-fold Law or Law of Return) is a religious tenet held by some Wiccans and Pagans. It states that whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times." and you don't want to be on the wrong end of that. If they were truly virtuous, they'd want to focus Damien's powers in a positive direction, and gain more enlightenment in return. Remove negative forces in the community and gain some good mojo. Excellent ending!

Of course, I had to make her a baby witch, and all that that entails. Small steps we must take to enter the larger world, in all its glory. Hope you enjoyed this caption, and remember that the deadline for the October DIY Challenge is on Halloween night, October 31, at midnight PST. You can find it on the main page, or just click HERE and you'll find the caption setting and original photo as well.

Please be safe out there, for you AND the little ghastly ghouls and boys that lurk in the twilight!

Since I mentioned vaguely some stuff dealing with Aleister Crowley, I just HAD to include this video from the US Festival in 1983. It was the first show with Jake E. Lee, and he just SHREDDED on this song. This was also back when Ozzy had some of his marbles left, and was much more youthful.
