I had to make something up to get rid of 2025! Let's hope that 2026 is much better!
You can consider this part 2 of the Boxing Day caption I posted a few days ago. If you didn't read it, DO SO NOW! Just a quickie caption with the Dee as dominatrix from that last caption .. I was still feeling that character, so why not lean into it for more blog content?
Some back story to the Dee Mentia persona on the Haven .. I'm a bit of a witchy big tiddy goth type who is very old, mostly because every year I make sure my profile has me listed as being 666 years old. I thought that that little detail would work well with this one, and is a play on the whole, "New Year's baby on January 1 and then to an old man on December 31" rinse and repeat aspect of the holiday.
But of course, being in that body, I might decide to stay in in longer if I can. Of course, by the end of the year, that form will be much debauched and worn out, so .. let's get another donor lady for me to inhabit!

So, as I've done many times in the past, here is something I got from Helena and will share with you again. Along with Kaaren, Helena is another person that is no longer with us, that I miss immensely.
Over here we have a seasons greeting, "Zalig uiteinde" meaning as much as a blissful ending of the year, combined with a happy new year. I can't recall ever hearing or reading of a similar greeting in English, so to a good Dutch custom: A blissful ending of the year, and a happy new year.
And to a New Year's posting I did at the end of 2018, Helena commented:
I raise my glass to this cap and the New Year. It always raises my spirits when I know I touched someone on some way, even if it is with something small.
For each and every visitor, commenter, and fellow captioner, once again .. I wish you "Zalig uiteinde!!"
Side note: Back when I was young, the NYE songs were shitty and/or played out. Like the Barry Manilow and Dan Fogelberg songs that Dick Clark would keep inviting back on his Rocking New Year's Eve show. Even a great song like Celebration" by Kool and the Gang has gotten overplayed.
I'm so glad we have P!ink around to show us how it's done! She was one of my forever person's favorite artists and anytime I can think about her driving down the road just singing along to one of her songs is a great day!

I had to re-read this caption again after your explanation. Once I realized that this body swap was an annual new year’s occurrence for our protagonist, I appreciated it more. And what a fine body they got this year. And of course, once again I want that dress. Happy new year Dee. I wish you a wonderful 2026.
ReplyDeleteI can understand your confusion. After almost 3k of TG caption panels, I tend to use brevity and context quite a bit in my stories .. and sometimes it can not exactly connect, especially when they are "in the moment."

Well, for me it’s was the dresses that first drew me in, gradually becoming a love of all things feminine, so yeah I’m still drawn in by them. I seem to always want more, even though my closet is overflowing in feminine clothing.

DeletePossibly. I do have a decent sized walk in closet with about 12 ft of double racked hanging bars, plus about 6 ft of taller bars. That’s about 30 ft total, and of that 6 ft is holding my male clothing, the rest nearly full of women’s clothing. And the same with the built in dresser— 1 drawer for my male briefs and socks, with 4 drawers for all my panties, bras, hosiery, etc.

DeleteIt’s an accumulation of over 40 years now. I like dresses of many types but I don’t buy as many as I’d like because most are too expensive for as little as I wear them. I also have a weakness for “slutty” stuff, including trashy lingerie and extremely short skirts and fetishy costumes. I wore things a lot more when I had someone to wear them for, but I’m trying to find new ways to enjoy wearing them.

ReplyDeleteMy GF is in the hospital so I didn't see her on NYE, but I did talk to her, and visited on New Year's Day. She'll hopefully be out by Saturday, fingers crossed.

DeleteNo problems! I brought it up so I will own it. She's getting out today, having been there for over a week. She had a resistant infection so needed IV antibiotics but things are now clearing up.

ReplyDeleteI don't know Boglin personally. I do know that there's a LONG history of disappearances and then popping up again later on. So hopefully it's another case of that and not anything too serious.
