Hunter Gatherers of the Modern Age!

Let's hope that no one gets offended by the zinger at the end .. OK?

Was looking for some ides of underused tropes and settings for TG captions on the Rachel's Have Discord channel, and I did get some good suggestions. While trying to hunt down some pictures for them, I came across this one, and knew that I could do something with it, so I threw it into a caption setting and went to town.

Let me say off the bat, I am not fond of anyone who hunts purely for sport. Honestly, go fuck yourselves with a rusty chainsaw while you are battered and deep fried in a cement mixer. Secondly, I find animal print clothing very tacky. Occasionally I will see something actually fashionable, but that is very rare. So in this case, I found quite a bit of things to rage against.

And I did watch the new South Park this weekend, which inspired me to post something in the spirit of Wokeness, and hence we get the zinger at the end. I had a few lined up, but they seemed tasteless or not befitting the rest of the story .. so I actually let it breath for 48 hours, and came back to it with a fresh mind, and I think I nailed it! I hope you agree.

Here is the PSA from the end of the South Park episode, in case you don't have Paramount Plus .. it's hosted on Matt and Trey's personal Youtube Page. It's definitely something! I can't recommend it enough!

    1. That is definitely a good way to put it .. Steph is like Buffalo Bill, wearing her resume!

  2. If you kill it and eat it, it's not trophy hunting, even if you mount the head (which I wouldn't).

    But those are SOME boots.

    1. Trophy hunting to me is, being able to brag about it, and show it off .. on the wall .. unless they brought it down in hand-to-hand combat, which if they did, I'd put it on Youtube.

All the hunters I know, do it to keep the population under control (a few towns give them special permits to take 2-3 a year for deer) and they usually give out most of the meat to charities or a raffle for the local rod and gun club (for summer camp for under privileged youth.)
