I've said it before .. Imps are an untapped potential TG transformational conveyance!
Here is my "Going away for a few days" holdover caption. And I'm using this space to lobby for more balance in the captioning world for other magical users other than fairies, genies and goth girls! What is wrong with goblins and imps? They do the job just as well as the aforementioned purveyors of mystical chaos. I'm guessing they haven't paid their union dues in quite some time? I might have to revisit this at some point.
On this actual caption, yes, it's definitely an AI generated picture. There are FIVE fingers on each hand, there are only two hands attached to the model, but the bench itself defies the laws of physics. Perhaps that is why imps aren't used that much in captions, because they defy the physical laws of nature? Otherwise, this is a standard bench caption, and the male and female names are from the preferences of WishtobePreg, a former captioner on Rachel's Haven. I figured since I wanted to use this picture, why not give it to someone who should be able to appreciate it. When I named the file, in addition to it possibly being called Bench imp strikes again, it could also be read as Ben chimp strikes again, which would be a completely different transformation and caption!
I'll be back early next week, as I am going to hang out with Amish people over the weekend. Leave some messages and I'll respond to each and every one, especially if you leave a good one. And why not .. I'll do an AMA there . Ask Me Anything, and you'll get either a truthful answer, a witty answer, or possibly both!
I guess those characters get used as they are traditionally magical and probably save a bit of explaining in the text. A dip on to folklore or another culture might turn up new characters and deities.
ReplyDeleteIs it the Amish who do the barn building? My shed has fallen over maybe you can put a good word in for me.
