Just An Ordinary Day .. and Dee's 2000th Blog Post!

It's an ordinary day in this caption .. well if you live in Mistress Dee's TG universe!

I had mentioned in a comment that I knew I was coming up on a major milestone here, but wasn't quite sure how close I was .. and then I looked and saw that I was only 2 away from hitting 2k posts! Whoa! I wanted to do something special to celebrate, but didn't want to put too much pressure on myself, I saw this picture while searching out source photos, and I thought of how people in my captions would deal with having me as a benevolent Goddess .. with random changes just happening on benches among other places .. then just dialed that idea back a bit. It's still there though, but in more of an overarching feeling than anything else.

And I did run out of space in the text area, so it does sort of end abruptly, but that also is reminiscent of much of my work. It often just "ends" without much resolution. Which in my opinion isn't a design flaw, but a choice to let the readers decide where the story goes next. "Your" imagination is always better at filling in the gaps with what you read, with a push of guidance to where I want you to go. It's always a thrill to read what others take from my captions, and "see" things I didn't intend when I plotted things out in my head, and converted it into text accompanying a chosen picture.

And that is the feedback I crave, along with the community building that I think is important. My captions are usually fun for me to make, and hopefully enjoyable for others to read .. but in reaching out to all of you who swing by, I hope there's a camaraderie built up among us, where you know who people are, what they like, and how they think .. all from just reading captions I've made for them, or comments that have been left where there's a dialog between us all.

That is what I've hoped I have built here over the last 11 years doing this blog, scattered amongst the 2k posts I've written, even the repeat posts that I might have re-contextualized into a new viewpoint. Both the captions and the blog are moments trapped in time, or saved for posterity in a more positive light. Thanks for everyone that's been on this journey with me .. and I hope you'll continue to walk the path forward with me, whether you're barefoot, in mary janes, ballet flats, thigh high latex boots, or fuck me pumps! Those moments in the sand where there's only one set of steps, it's nice to know we carried each other when we needed it most!

  1. Great cap Dee! That would be a fun, chaotic, wonderful world to live in. I’d hope that the benevolent Goddess Dee would smile especially fondly upon cap makers! And you’re right, I think ending as it did was perfect as there has to be a next step and it just pushes the reader into making it up. I’m imagining that female cop coming up to the ‘new’ hooker and offering her the chance to get off if ‘she’ can get ‘him’ off (you had to know I’d work a BJ into it!).

Congratulations on the milestone! That’s quite a feat to get 2000 posts, considering that none of them are “here’s the cap” with no text or information or conversation. 2000 conversations! By the way, the made me peek at my own production and currently at 984 posts, I should catch up to you around 2035!

Here’s to an amazing ‘Dee’lightful world and here’s to another 2000 glimpses into it!

    1. So you aren't that far away from 1k posts on your blog! Good for you!

And thanks for the compliments! It's friends like you that make it easy for me to keep going and push through everything. Keeping a somewhat regular schedule does help too. I enjoy making content and conversing with everyone here!

  2. Beaten to the punch, but yes: this is the crux of what you have achieved. You have created a welcoming and powerful community that has not only stood for eleven (that long!?) years but expanded and strengthened!

From this caption I got the distinct impression that our observer was going to have a John who spontaneously became a maid, returning to their live-in position (the one they hadn't had to begin with) and carry out some kind of heist, and then the 'new' hooker and she would Thelma and Louise it...

I'm not at all certain I could cope with such chaos though - can't say I would be disappointed to be hit by it tyhough, so that would make for quite the doozy.

Hats (and mob caps?) off to your phenomenal productivi-Dee and huge capacity to create engaging and interesting content, thoughtful questions, uplifting inclusions, supportive replies and... well, everything. Thank you, deeply, for all that you do and I hope that it keeps going for at least 2,000 more posts.

    1. Thank you Joanna! I'm glad that you were able to come back again, even though it wasn't under the best circumstances due to your personal life. That's what I am here for though .. giving people in the TG community some stability I hope, and the comfort to know that things are going to be alright. When my longtime GF / forever person died last year, this was one of the places I kept coming back to, and everyone was so supportive of me when I needed it most.

    1. Thanks! I'm hoping for pretty much more of the same here. Not sure if any of my wheels need to be re-invented, but if so, I am probably up to the challenge!

And good for you that you are able to lounge about as you see fit. Nice to know that we have some people here that are taking part in real life activities, even though I know it's nothing like how our fantasies would go.

Glad that you are a part of our community! Here's looking forward to lots more comments and enjoyment as time passes!

  5. Congratulations ! That is quite the accomplishment. Your ability to come up with something fresh and original along the way must be difficult at times. I imagine you finding a picture and having it "speak" to you might be a larger part of the talent. Thank you and I hope to see several thousand more.

    1. Thank you for the kind words! And yes, finding pictures that "speak" to me is how I write most of the captions. Occasionally I'll have an idea ahead of time, but usually, I just write what the photo tells me is happening.
