All the right parts in all the right places!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Life Day .. You know, the family holiday that everyone in the Star Wars universe apparently celebrates because you aren't going to wish a Wookie a Merry Christmas, are you? I didn't think so! I'll be watching the Star Wars Holiday Special later tonight. I just need to bake up some Wookie Cookies and get some Ewok Nog and I'll be all set!
Made this blog exclusive right before Halloween I believe, and the picture inspired me to whip something up. Just wasn't sure what exactly, so I threw it into a caption setting, and just started writing .. and once I got the first line, I was off to the races, no pun intended, but it works. Nice straight forward plot to compliment the photo fairly well. I don't think it needs much explaining, does it? Good, because I really want to get back to my Life Day celebrations, which I'll have to do in isolation this year, but I will raise up my orb in honor of those who are no longer part of my family unit. May the force be with you!
oooh... are you kidding? I have never seen that - it kept getting deleted...
ReplyDeletethe cap - cursed bench seats? classic lines though....
Heh. Bench seats in a car. Well, technically that could certainly happen, and appeals to the trickster in me!
DeleteYou should watch SWHS while you can then! Rifftrax has a funny commentary for it, as I tend to watch it a few times a year that way!
The car has other ideas, 1 lady owner must be adhered to it only recognises you in your current form as that lady. And no matter how forward of you it is for a lady to own a car, you need a rich husband to maintain your standing from the era that matches the car.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back again! Glad to see you commenting.
DeleteAnd I hadn't thought about a car having the social mores of the times in which it was built. I've done it with houses, but hadn't crossed my mind to do it with a vehicle. Great idea!
I'm so not a car person, and would rather walk than drive, but something compels me to put an offer in on that one . . . it just feels like it might be the right fit. :)
ReplyDeleteI actually watched a bad copy of the holiday special the other day and what blew me away, what I totally didn't remember about it, was the softcore VR porn with Diahann Carroll. "I am your fantasy. I am your experience. So experience me. I am your pleasure. Enjoy me." Whew!
I am a car person, as much as I am pretty good about diagnosing what is wrong and issues with regards to that, but actually DOING the repairs? I'm much more of an ideas person, than the nuts and bolts!
DeleteYeah, Itchy watching VR porn in their living room .. in a 1978 holiday special on regular TV seems quite odd to see now, right? Diahann Carroll was delicious to look at though. Incredibly hot, and I'm not sure why she agreed to be involved in a holographic inter-species seduction sketch, but I'm sort of glad she was up for it!
If you are a Star Wars fan, I do recommend the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special on Disney+. Other than their depiction of Poe Dameron, it was pretty well done and amusing!
So bench seats aren't safe either!!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved it!!!

Yes, apparently you have to find an old car to become a hot mama, or someone's old lady!
DeleteI love the cap and the image. That pin up look is just so classically sexy. I must be an old soul, because I find that so sexier than the modern trashy looks.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely more stylish back in the day. Fashion has gone downhill once Grunge became a thing, and I say that as a big grunge music fan.
DeleteOf course, it doesn't get any sexier than Bettie Page and Julie Newmar!
