He's Going Into the Final Round of .. Gender Swap Sweepstakes!

If she remembers her modesty, or lack of it, she'll do just fine in the bonus round!

Yeah. So this is the first of two Game Show captions that I've made in the last few days. Not sure how or why I came upon that topic, but nonetheless, here is the first one I created.

Well, for this one, you can figure out that the picture just lends itself to the topic. If you wanted to figure out the real story of the photo, it would most likely be some sort of model in a big room showing off bikes and cars, right? Well, in the caption case, she's just the contestant in some studio where she's won some prizes. Pretty much writes itself .. sort of.

Well, you need the game show contestants hubris in thinking that they have got all the answers to whatever the game show judges have conjured up. When I go visit my grandmother, she always has the Game Show Network on, and it is amazing how many people think they have control / mastery over the banker, or the board, or a randomized computer blip. They get really caught up in the drama of the situation that they gamble when they should know the odds are stacked against them.

Sometimes the drama is so over the top, I question whether these shows are on the level anymore, a la the 60's quiz show scandals. It would not shock me if the producers were along the lines of, "Look, this thing is rigged. No matter what you do, you can walk out of here with 5k or 10k. It would suck if we brought in another really smart challenger, and the video board questions we picked out for you were to suddenly get 50 percent harder, right?"

For instance, last year, during half-time of one of the football games on Thanksgiving, I amazed everyone while watching the game with the suitcases and the banker character. at the end of each round, I called out "the offer" before the banker, and was usually within 5-10 percent. You can probably figure it out yourself. It does vary a bit, mostly due to how deep into the game you are, and there are social engineering elements in it as well, but when you think about it, you can pick a fairly close number.

So yeah. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing he isn't going to make it around the studio twice in that outfit on that bike.

  1. I love the game show theme. Although i rarely ever watch game shows now. it does seem to be the thing to have to build the tension. i just scream at the screen get on with it.
Not sure he could even get his leg over that bike in the tight dress. although i doubt he has any dignity left by this point anyway.
