Sometimes, office politics is best solved when you have to walk a mile in another's shoes.
I think the blurb sentence sums this caption up nicely. Made this for Wendygirl, who doesn't mind when you bring up social injustices, and I figured she would like this one. As per the original post:
You never know what is going to happen at an office party, especially when it's now all women, and some are very intelligent, attractive, and powerful women!
I was writing this, figuring you were the girl on the right, which only being a woman for a month or two would mean the shortish hair cut. Somehow, by the time I got to the end, it became a plea for equal rights and equal pay for women, and honestly I went for it, figuring (a) you wouldn't mind the sort of empowering type of caption, and (b) you and your boss are drinking .. perhaps there IS something between you two.Looking back at this, I'm guessing that "All Workers / One Gender" is highly illegal now in the United States. It would be interesting if some workplace did institute this, mostly to highlight said inequities that women are seeing when it comes to paychecks and benefits. Sort of like how one of the female legislatures introduced measures to limit men's access to viagra .. making sure that the guys have to go through a medical procedure to show they are healthy enough to use it, a 48 hour waiting period, etc .. which mimics what actual women have to do to obtain birth control and their reproductive rights. "May you live in interesting times" is considered an Irish curse.
DISCUSSION QUESTION: I'll repeat this since no one replied to Thursday's posting. Anyone been to Atlantic City in the Autumn season? Other than gambling and strip clubs, is there anything else to do there that could be considered fun?
I think the equality should be spread to the higher ups. Why shouldn't they be able to experience equality as well?
