Rub a Dub Dub .. Big Tits in the Tub! DIY Challenge Results!

You're not fully clean, unless you're ZESTFULLY clean!

Less rock, more talk! Well, actually, not much of either. I want to post all the submissions and this time, let the commenters and blog visitors do the talking! What do you think of the different approaches done by each of the captioneers? Which one was the most up your alley? What about the picture appealed to you and made you want to caption it?

First up was me, then Helena:

Ian is back with another submission!

And early this morning, I got one posted to my folder on Rachel's Haven, taking advantage of my deadline extension .. Its Kaitlyn!

We've got four captions for people to read, gawk at, and absorb into our psyche! That should be enough to gab about down below. We should be running the DIY probably around the end of the week. I'll be looking around for some hopefully interesting pictures to use, so stay tuned!

Maybe she was just toweling off from a bad case of .. The Devil's Rain!

  1. Well done all. I thought Helena's is a very Dee caption it took a couple of reads to sink in. although very different
caption I think Kaitlyn my own are more about a mans love for breasts than a woman's ?
I was a bit stumped with this photo so went comedy gag (hopefully).
Loved the punch line on your caption.

    1. Thanks! Looking at mine again, I started to wonder about whether other countries had both "Bath and Body Works" and "Bed, Bath, and Beyond" as retail outlets like we do in the states.

And yes, that is one of the reasons I like dong the DiY Challenges is to see the different thought processes. Even if we all went with the same idea, I think our personalities would still show through!

  2. All of them are very well done! I marvel at the ability to pull stories and situations together like this, I take months, literally months, to come up with a situation and an image that work together. And that's rare. I have the greatest respect for even the 'throwaway' stuff that people create and come up with.

Much as I like yours, Dee, I have to say the simplicity (in terms for form and length) of Ian's is also very appealing. Bravo everyone!

    1. I have no problem with people liking others more than mine. Maybe that gets them the push they need to become motivated to do their own, or at least make more captions for my DiY!

Its mainly brainstorming on my end Joanna. I can't tell you how many pictures I view before even coming up with one idea. And I could look at the same photo everyday for a month and not think of anything, but that 31st day, something will pop into my head. If the source material hooks me in some way visually, I know that at some point I'll be able to work with it, and if something comes right away .. BLAMMO!

I"m betting you are just trying too hard to be literary, precise and perfect. While there can be an artistry to what we do, its still just a marriage of words and pictures, whether we are depicting a torrid and brief affair, or a solid, dependable relationship.

  3. I wanted to comment sooner on this, but was a bit under the weather. First time I called in sick last week, after more than a decade. When I finally wanted to start on my comment today I got unexpected visitors.

Anyway, yours, Ian's and Kaitlyn's caps turned out great.
As for mine, I am a bit puzzled why it turned out more greenish than the source picture. It was unintended, and I didn't notice it before it was posted here. Nevertheless, it could have turned out worse.
Thank you all for the compliments, being compared to Dee surely is.
