Dinner at the Steakhouse

Its so ironic now that I don't eat much meat!

Figured I would post a funny caption. Thought I had posted it already, but I didn't see it when I did a quick search of the blog. After 400 posts, you can certainly lose track of what has been written about and what hasn't, so forgive me if this is a repeat.

Bren isn't around much anymore, due to real life, but she was one of the very first friends I had on Rachel's Haven, since she joined around the same time that Bimbo Jessica and I did. She was/is always good for a rant or two, and she grows some of the best lesbian peppers around! The best chili I've ever made used peppers from her garden, and my daughter still asks if Bren is going to mail us some more so I can make another pot of my famous black bean and shredded pork chili.

I found the picture somehow and it does look like Bren so it wasn't hard to make a story around it. The only thing that was somewhat witty is the name of the club .. The Cowpoke! Yeah, that was my "zinger" for the caption. I think its no surprise to say that I've gotten much better making captions in the 4 years since I created this one.

Remember everything goes better with Jello! Got surgery scheduled for tomorrow so I'm hoping everything is going to go well. I'll catch up with everyone in a day or two!

    1. Glad to hear that. I know that you had no steak in it either way!

  2. Fun cap Dee. Remember though... if you are what you eat, are you then what you ate had eaten? If so I'm a vegetarian!

Good luck with the surgery. I hope it goes smoothly and that you have plenty of jello afterward!

    1. Whatever I am, its probably hot, as I was always into spicy food. I've cut down quite a bit, but I still love the sriracha!

I will be posting about my misadventures in the O.R. today, before the anesthesia wears off.

  4. I usually try to do a quick search based on subject matter or who the caption was made for, and this didn't kick up anything, but I swear it had been posted here at some point. Oh well, its probably new for some people at least!
