Taco Bout a Bunch of Balloons That Misspells Your Masculine Doom!

To think I almost misspelled misspell in the title! And what the hell does it even mean? Right?

Yeah, I usually title captions last, and I was having a hell of a time trying to come up with something that sounded right but didn't give away much of the plot. I guess that at the least, it will make people click on it just to see what the hell I was talking about .. but also here on the blog, you can at least see the picture, which might help give the title some context.

I had the picture and immediately came up with the plot twist. I like word play, so why not fuck around with anagrams too? There were a few others that worked, but this one fit the best.

From there, it was just fleshing out the story, and Kallie too. I'd actually put aside this caption for a week or two because I couldn't figure out how to finish it. I had left it off at "Fix that  " and I was not sure where I wanted to let it go. I cam back today and got the inspiration I needed.  Since it involved spelling and words, why not connect it all into a big circle to tie everything in together? I think it worked really well, and I don't think it seems tacked on, but more organically thought through than it actually should have been, and that it had been the conclusion all along.

I would of course like to hear from everyone in the comments, but if you enjoy pregnancy captions, be sure to comment below, as I seem to have only one or two recipients left on the haven to be my targets for when I do them. That way, the next time I have inspiration, YOU could be starring in that caption! I know, sounds like fun, huh?

Since I am celebrating a birthday this weekend, I might not be around that much over the official weekend, but I will check in from time to time, hence I'll answer comments as needed. I should also have new captions up as well. This weekend and next should be the end of the "Dee's frazzled existence for a good chunk of 6 weeks" schedule I've been working under, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel to hopefully relax a bit this summertime!

of course, who else but Weird Al? But I'll throw in some yummy 80's goodness too!

I can still play the keyboard and bass lines to this song!

  1. Love the cap, even though anagrams have never been my forte. As for the pregnancy part, to me they are just part of the whole becoming a woman thing. I can thoroughly enjoy them, but it's not a necessity.

I'm assuming it's your own birthday. According to the Haven Birthday List yours is on June 30.

    1. I don't like to give out the exact date so I use that one since its at the end of the month. I also have a relative born the day before so we end up usually doing something together as a group with his family too, hence busyness this weekend. Something about this time of year means our families were fertile in what, the middle of September?

  2. "Spelling baby names in your taco with my tongue!" OMG, that had me laughing so hard I have tears running down my face. Great job, as always, but something about the silliness of this one just worked so well for me!

    1. Glad you enjoyed! That was literally the improv at the end that I just added because I wasn't sure how to end it, but the taco part made the story a big 360 back to the beginning, so I thought it'd work. I'm pleased to see I was right!
