Well, at least it's not another lock down .. well, not for everybody!
I saw this image and the whole idea came to me, almost fully formed. Especially since I just looked at my bank account, with the 20 percent increase in rent, and double the health insurance rate coming out of the paycheck.
At least in real life, I don't have a roommate. As Danny Glover from Lethal Weapon would say, "I'm too old for this shit!"
And I guess you could say that he got off easy .. well, with that cage on, I'm not sure he'll get off THAT easy, but you do what you can to survive. You know that Dee would NEVER do anything like this on purpose, would she? Yeah, she would, and she just did. I bet that she's not even going to add an AI face in post production either! As Bugs Bunny would say, "Ain't I a Stinker?" Heh
Fingers crossed that this post will be up just a little bit after the Patriots beat the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs. I'm writing this up on Friday and setting it to post around 7:30 PM or so. For the record, my picks to win will be .. Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and LA Rams. I won the Pick'em league regular season already, so hopefully I can win in the playoffs too!

Dee, this one ticks a lot of boxes for me: no magic, a bit of coercion, not realizing what *she* was getting into. Dee, your publishing that photo without adding an AI face could solve all her financial troubles as cute as she is in that photo.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it! In general, my captions are just sort of a random assortment of thoughts that come to me as I gather images that look interesting to me. So, like this F@#$ing New England weather .. you never know what you are going to get!

DeleteIt's shocking what AI will do. Took a Halloween photo (I was hideous) said to put her in this dress (supplied one) and changed the hairstyle and shoes... I swear, I don't see ME in her. And she's actually kinda cute, no supermodel, but above average. Put her in a club, she gets asked to dance, for sure.
ReplyDeleteThat's great. AI has come a long way over the past year .. of course over a hundred billion plus dollars invested in it, with power demands, etc .. it had nowhere to go but up. I've done some photos of me enhanced with AI, and it's definitely not bad. I think perhaps there might be a few captions done in 2025 that has my face blended in with a model .. for those that are interested in hunting them down! LOL

For future topics, you could always go with a fan based cap. Say someone getting femmed up due to a bad bet with someone that doesn't understand all the sports ball betting going on. That could lead to a discussion of your own fandoms. We know you like the Pats, but are you a complete New England homegirl? Boston babe? Any non-regional fandoms? Any odd sports? Anything sports you don't particularly follow?
Caitlyn, if you’re a Lions fan you are probably in SE Michigan like me. I’m not a football fan, don’t understand the game at all, but the Super Bowl is one of our biggest days at work so we always have to work, making it a major party as we all monitor the health of the website.
DeleteKate, I'm technically in Mid-Michigan, but yeah close enough. It's funny, working in the Prisons, the Super Bowl was always a calm day. None of our 'residents' wanted to mess up and miss the chance to watch the game. Unfortunately there really isn't any partying for staff while on duty :(

I can remember doing "a bet" with Hailey Pixley over the 2013 World Series that the Red Sox won .. and made her a caption. I also did a caption for both a Bruins win and loss in the 2019 Stanley Cup finals .. which the B's lost. That was one of those CYA moments where it was fun to write up one for both scenarios before game 7 happened.
I don't really follow the Celtics that much, other than when I am listening to sports talk radio and they do segments on them. I was really raised on the other 3 Boston teams (Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins) and my dad was a huge hockey guy so I followed them the most when I was young. At one point we had a VHS tape of the Best of Bruins fights, so I got to see a bunch of Cam Neely, John Wenwink, Stan Jonathan, and Lyndon Byers bouts.
Also, I think if you look up 'football' or 'Superb Owl" you'll get a bunch of NFL, Hooters and Cheerleader captions!
