Nobody Would Buy Boy Scout Cookies!

I had no idea how to title this .. but please read the caption. It's really good, I promise!

Whipped this on up on Saturday, and it was a lot of fun to write. Some of this caption IS semi-autobiographical .. can you guess which parts have been pulled from my own life?

Yes, I was in boy scouts, and if I had stayed in, I'd certainly have become an Eagle Scout. When I was 15, all I needed was a service project and 2 merit badges, and I'd have become Eagle. I became disillusioned though by quite a few things that the leaders were doing / saying .. and I just dropped out. At one point, I was almost "poached" by a different troop that was looking to be recognized as an influential group in the area, and I was offered, "if you join the troop, we can have you make Eagle Scout in less than 2 months!" I passed.

And I do remember getting ahold of my dad's porn stash as a teenager, but it was standard magazines and VHS tapes. I was always careful to zero out the VCR when I put the tape in, and rewind exactly to the same spot, so I wouldn't get caught. 

So each of those things flavored this caption, and just filled in some other details to make it pop like a Dee caption should. What do YOU think? Tell me down below!
