Yeah, I've done sweet Easter captions in the past, but not THIS year!
Easter is a time of rebirth, renewal, fertility, and a time to shed the old skin of winter, and frolic around with passion and frivolity! Put on some fancy garb and feast on the flesh of the fattened animals, and stop denying yourself the pleasures that you gave up for the last 40 days. He died for our sins, so lets get back to sinning!
Yeah, I would NOT be a good preacher, would I? Just keep doing what you are always doing, but do it with a renewed fervor to make your lives the best they can be, while also stopping to smell the roses. It's really a shame to waste the life you have here for the chance to have a life eternal afterwards. Sort of like a spiritual lottery ticket. You can be a good person, and still enjoy yourself. There are some universal truths out there on how to live a good life, and let that guide you, not some book written a long time ago.
On that note, I do hope that you enjoy today, whether Easter is a religious holiday for you, or more of a family gathering to help usher in warmer weather. Perhaps it's the start of your garden, or when you clean out your closets, basements, garages, gutters. and old habits. Just celebrate this gift of life that we have while we have it.
