Missing Them Deeply .. So Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Now

There's so many different emotions that the holidays can bring out .. this is one of them.

Here we are as in olden days, Happy golden days, of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us, Gather near to us, once more.

Wasn't sure what to write for the actual Christmas Day, so I found a picture I liked and just sort of wrote what I felt as I was feeling it. And what I wrote brought me to a hopeful, yet underlying sad song that just gets me in the feels every time I listen, and definitely hit home for me last year at this time.

Once again, I make my appeal to you, one and all. Please let those you love KNOW it, again and again. You'll never know when it might be the last time you do. Try not to hold grudges, live and let live. Cherish every moment you have with friends and family. Bless you all for being a big part of this community, and a huge part of my little piece of the internet!

As I've said on this date in the past:

I hope that this post finds you, your family and friends .. all blessed with good tidings and joy on this day that carries so many emotions with it, both good and bad. I just wanted to let you know that you CAN feel like this isn't the most wonderful time of the year. Don't feel guilty for doing so, if that is where your mind is at.

Yin and Yang. Balance in the force. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, and there you have, the facts of life. Shit may seem like it's stacked against you, but you must remember that the bullfighter does NOT always win!

So please do acknowledge the things in life that make all the trials and tribulations worthwhile. It's only another week until the year refreshes itself, and tomorrow is always another day to move forward and grow towards being the best you that you can be! Reflect on all the difficulties,

You knew this was coming, right? It's a yearly tradition. Only one Monkee left now, and his voice is so heavenly!

  3. Merry Christmas Dee! You are heard, as always, and I echo the importance of telling those you love that they are loved while you can.

What else is there to be said? Except I love you all too. :)

  4. Merry Christmas. I don't go to the Haven much anymore but did recently and saw how so many were now inactive (and the news about Rachel). Very good cap.
