Originally posted this caption back in the beginning of April, 2015. Why do I like this caption? Because someone learns an important lesson .. porn stars work very hard to keep us hard! Well, that and I love adding some extra twists and turns that keep things interesting.
Here's what I had to say about this back then:
The idea behind this caption is just how heavily made-up and perfectly coiffed most of the female porn stars are now when you watch an x rated video. I'm sure most people have seen at least one of those buzz-feed type, click bait inducing "10 celebrities without makeup!" or "Porn Stars looking normal!" posts, and you say, "damn, I know a bunch of women that are prettier than that!" Well, you are right in that assumption, but most of those women don't show off their naughty bits for money! I would say that their lifestyle doesn't help embellish their natural beauty too much.
That is the one thing that I don't like about the adult film/magazine industry .. that they can give guys an unrealistic view about women in general, and as sex partners as a whole. In the last few years, there have been many strides made by women, but still, 80-90 percent of porn is still made to perpetuate men's sexual fantasies. And that is all well and good when you realize it IS a fantasy. Just like in a real relationship though, sex is something shared by two (or more!) people and it can be just as much of a compromise as anything else, and that give and take is what makes it so special.\
To me, there is nothing sexier than that unkempt, freshly fucked look after you drove her nuts and she is almost hyperventilating with passion. Makeup smeared, body scratches, sweat glistening off her tits, hard prints on her ass and she is ready for a nap, but can't because the sheets are completely fucked off the bed.
Well, yeah. I still believe in what I wrote then. Maybe even more so now. I have been posting pictures of my "fiance" over the past month to a private account or so after she died. I don't think she is wearing makeup in any of the pictures. That smile though just gets me every time. We both look younger than our age, but every picture I see of her, I see the inner beauty and the charm and just how infectious that smile could be. I know of how often there was a frown on that face, but at some point, she just had to grin. It was her positive nature. Yeah, I went off the reservation. I am prone to do that now, but oh well.
And she had magnificent tits! Pendulous and yet still firm. What can I say?!?
Cool caption (er...grandfather's bowling team? ;) and I agree with you about the standard porn smut template raising unreasonable expectations for people when they stop reminding themselves that it is just a _fantasy_, after all. Similar range of things might be said for glamour modeling, which is nice to look at but does too often induce poor self-esteem by girls and women who feel ashamed of their own bodies as a result, for "failing" to live up to the "beauty standard" which they see on magazines or other media.

I actually went out this afternoon (Saturday) and met some friends in a parking lot of a retail outlet that is no longer open right now. We did a swap of things that were needed that we had found will scavenging through stores, and hung out a bit sitting on buckets about 10 feet apart. Was pretty nice, even though we didn't hug or anything like that. We are going to try to do that again real soon, hopefully next weekend if the weather co-operates.
DeleteOkay, musical choice first - HONEYMOON SUITE! OMG, they're my hometown band, the first concert I ever went to (with Helix and Kim Mitchell). It makes me smile every time I hear somebody else listening to them. :)

DeleteI really enjoyed Honeymoon Suite a lot. I had heard them before the tour, as they had gotten some airplay with "New Girl Now" and "The Big Prize" was a great record. Helix? OMG. I remember them, but they weren't as big as Anvil. I thought Saga was a decent enough band, but for Canadian bands, I thought one of the best was Killer Dwarfs.
Oh, Killer Dwarfs were so much fun - awesome videos. They reunited for a live album a few years back and they're apparently working on a new album produced by David Ellefson of Megadeth.
DeleteWow. Hadn't heard about that. Believe it or not, it took a trip to visit my relatives in Florida that got me the Killer Dwarves cassette for Stand Tall. I couldn't find it in any records stores around here in 1988 or so. Went to a few record stores in FL, and came across it there. I would play some of their songs when I was a DJ at my college radio station!
