Just drink me in .. all of me!
I have a few captions that I could have posted, but one is more in tune for wedding season, and the other isn't quite done, and I might want to overhaul it. So I went to the D'arkives and found this image that was definitely hypnotic in nature, so I went with that.
Sometimes you need to write up a huge plot, with twists and turns, double crosses and counter plans .. and other times you just go straight ahead, and not fuck with a great source photo and massage it into place.
Hell, there's an argument to be made, from me as well, that the last paragraph isn't needed. I debated leaving it in, or taking it out entirely, and there's an argument for both sides.
Ultimately, I left it in because I thought it tied the caption together better, where Dee (yes, this is definitely an iteration of me) initially starts by acknowledging the lack of social graces in YOU staring at me .. going through all the reasons why you CAN'T stop staring at everything but my eyes .. and then gives implicit permission to stare at me. All so that I can drain your masculinity and make you my thrall.
That last paragraph is the summation of what was said, and a jumping point to the next part, which is implied, that Dee will be telling you all the things that she'll be staring at as you change, starting with your hair, and working her way down your body, just like you did to her. Repetition, structure and direct and clear paths are used in hypnotic techniques and I tried to use that here in the caption too.
And is this a magical caption, or more of just a hypnosis caption? Your guess is as good as mine. The fact it could be either makes it a bit more fun for me. I've putting tags for both in the algorithm, but it could just be suggestions that take root, or Dee is one of those magical big tiddy goth girls you hear so much about!
Sooooo, what says you? Is it better the way I went with, implying things to move forward, or would it have been more impactful if I kept it succinct and ended it slightly earlier?

Great cap! While I was probably primed by your title, I immediately focused on the blue pendant and thought you'd make it the centerpiece of your cap. You don't disappoint! I think the cap is best served with the last paragraph in place. I like the idea of this being a magical cap with an actual transformation occurring instead of it simply being a hypnotic suggestion and that last paragraph lays that out.
ReplyDeleteOn the Deviant Art front, I'm still surprised that I couldn't find you before. I thought I used a variation of that, but I guess I didn't get it just right. Anyway, I'm there now and I'm 'Watching' you (sounds a little stalkerish!).
And thanks for the reminder of the fun song. I'd let it slip off my playlist years ago and it deserves a home there!
Even with the last paragraph, I still think it could be read as just hypnosis, or start the chain of magical changes. But, being vague and letting the reader decide is .. VERY DEE, so it's on point for a Mentia caption.
DeleteYeah, I was surprised you hadn't found be on DA before hand, but hey, you're on board now! I'm really surprised you aren't doing what I'm doing .. posting older captions there. I'm already at 335 or so watchers, and I bet with your style and attention to detail .. plus you tend to make naughtier captions than I do .. You'd have a ton of people drooling and panting all over themselves!

Yeah this one will really draw them in... that blue... oh gosh. It is a great cap. Confirms I did find you on DA around the time of the previous cap. Now threehundred followers is great.

DeleteI spent a lot of time studying the picture on this cap before reading the caption. The hair style, her eyes, her lips, the pendant, her tits, the fishnets…very sexy and alluring. Then I read the caption and after that it seemed all I could see was the pendant, so intensely blue. As I stared at, the words echoing in my mind, a part of me wished it were real.

So glad you enjoyed it! it's deefinitely easy to come under that spell. There's a reason why the "big tiddy goth girl" is a trope in tg captions, and quite a bit in pop culture as well.
DeleteAnd the Deviant Art picture, it almost had the "real me" version facially .. after I generated it, I decided not too because it looked a lot like my daughter, so I went against it.
I read it as a hypnotic caption at first, but feel like it blurs into magic with the bangs at the end. Either way, it's a fun caption, and I woudn't object to a staring contest. :)
