A Little More Truth in Advertising .. and in Real Life Too!

Membership certainly has its privileges .. and the bonus plan has a little bit extra too!

I do not really have many captions in reserve at the moment .. February was a bit of a mental health month for myself, and March is set up to be the same where I have to deal with things I would prefer not to if at all possible, so I am making things often on "the fly" as the last few captions have been.

I don't necessarily view this as a disadvantage though, because it's like doing an improv comedy sketch, or just jamming out with a few friends musically .. often you can get some deep satisfaction from just being creative, regardless of whether anything fruitful comes out of the exercise. And so far, I've been good enough where I don't mind posting the captions here without a delay.

And this one is no exception. I just went to a few of my favorite amateur sites, and I thought that this photo would work really well, and there were some colors I could bring out in the text setting that would make it pop, no matter what I came up with. The model, Alaya from Southern Charms, is also a great muse to work with when I want to get inspired, and this time, without her trademark amazing legs in pantyhose and heels making an appearance at all!

What I've noticed when making captions the way I have these last few times is that it's a much more visceral and "in the moment" plot that is very direct. The only idea I had in mind was that she was definitely shopping at BJ's Wholesale club .. I could tell because that is a "house" brand, and I recently joined and started shopping at one about 15 minutes from the apartment. Since I'm living by myself now, it isn't necessarily convenient to shop in bulk, but there are still some things that are definitely worth it, and since I split the membership with a friend, it works out to like 25 bucks for the year.

So I knew that at some point, the BJ would come up, and why not just write until you find out what the punch line is going to be? I did that, and then changed a sentence or two afterward, and WHAM! You are now reading it a few hours later. It feels good to not worry about something that much .. if people will like it as a trade caption, will the readers enjoy it, etc .. I've made me peace that it is what it is, and let the chips fall where they may. I need to start living my life that way too. One day at a time, I guess!

We've got ourselves a blog exclusive, so chat up the caption down below, and remember, I am still offering a AMA (Ask Me Anything!) so feel free to do so there, and I'll do my damnedest to answer!

  1. That's so much fun, and so naughty, I love it! Mind you, I thought I was being far more discreet in following her, but I'm certainly willing to make it up to her. ;)

    1. Do you have warehouse stores like the actual BJ's up in the great white north? I always have to laugh at how large the shopping carts are there!

Glad you enjoyed it! I thought it was pretty good for a 10 minute creation.

    2. No BJs, but we do have Costco . . . and, back in the pre-Covid days when we could cross the border, we used to shop at Sam's Club too.

  2. Fun and whatever happens she’s enough paper to mop up.

    1. I had thought about trying to fit that in, but while you don't mind having a strong lover, being absorbent isn't exactly a desirable trait, is it?

  3. I'm going to think of this every time I go to that store now, and I'm going to smile when I do. Thank you for the great captions you make.

  4. For me, every time I even mention going to BJ's, I get that silly smirk on my face.

    1. Possibly two Michelles? Or one who is really enthusiastic about this caption? Either way, I'm happy!

      Who doesn't want BJ's, right?

    1. She does one for you, you do one for her. Sort of digital 69....

    2. As Fiona mentioned, it's when people make a caption for each other. I've been making trading captions for many years, mostly on Rachelshaven.com which also has TG roleplay, some stories, and various other bits and bobs.
