Just a little bit of fun for me .. and Sally Bend .. because I miss her!
Made this a few months ago, when it was wicked hot outside, and when I was longing for a much more mellow fall, and we have that here now this weekend, with the nighttime temp being 33 degrees outside! I still used the air conditioner two days earlier, so once again, New England weather rearing it's ugly head.
But it was mostly to let Sally Bend know I was thinking about her .. and her wife too. She doesn't post much stuff about her .. semi-personal life anymore on her blog .. but I leaned into the whole Canadian stereotype, mostly because much of it is true! I am sure they are nowhere NEAR Moose Jaw, but it's always fun to play around with a sweet, sweet town name from Canada.
I am not sure I'll be posting on Wednesday this week .. perhaps I'll go back to in in November. What sayeth you? Hadn't had many comments lately so I also wonder what you all would like to see next.
By the way .. I HATE sweaters. They make me feel confined, and sweaty .. and when I was younger, one snagged my pierced nipple and it REALLY hurt when I tried to pull it off quickly!

Well, better Moose Jaw than being in Castor to see the Raiders play..... get one of their sweaters?
ReplyDeleteYou fell for the old genetically modified maple tree syrup trick? Good luck getting thru Customs, always harder going to the US.
I will always fall for anything regarding real maple syrup!
DeleteNice tho don't think Dee will make it back to lower 48 at all, hey.
ReplyDeleteWool sweaters are terribly scratchy snaggy things, could never put up with them. Thankfully there are soft smooth comfy alternatives.
My ancestors came from Canada. and according to 23 and Me, pretty much 60 percent of French Canadians are related to me!
DeleteOMG, I love this! So sweet and friendly. Universal healthcare (and comfy sweaters) for all. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked it! When I saw the image I just thought of you and your lovely spouse and knew I could do something fun with it.
