Sent to Principal Ms. Mentia's Office!

I needed to post this before school lets out for the summer!

And yes, I know that school is out for the summer in much of the south.

It's graduation weekend here in New England, so I'm using Deestern Standard Time for references sake, so I needed to upload this caption I made back in April for Lacy, and I included Jinny as her friend/bettor. I'm not sure if Lacy was playing to lose, but I think you can agree that there were all winners by the looks of her!

I got the idea as soon as I saw the picture. Back in my day, the dress code was that skirts/shorts had to be longer than the girls relaxed arm by their side, fingers fully extended. And I had a female friend that complained that as a taller gal, she had to wear much longer skirts that her friends, because short skirts were REALLY short on her frame, and her arms were longer than all of her acquaintances. I then told her to shut up, because our school didn't have air conditioning, and boys weren't allowed to wear shorts at all! Trust me, a few guys thought about putting a skirt in June, but never worked up the guts to do it. A few other schools had some guys protest by wearing field hockey skirts in school .. they were sent home blah blah blah .. and then couple years later, guys were finally allowed to wear shorts. 

Anyway, that is the genesis of this caption .. and a fun time for me to be the strict principal / head mistress putting Lacy in her paces, so to speak. And that IS quite the outfit .. even in the 80's I'm not sure any girl would have worn that combination to school!

Dude is STILL rocking at almost 80 years of age!
