Two Quickies for your Perusal!

2 quickies equals one official caption, right?

I am pretty sure this image is AI, but it only took a few minutes to make a story for it, so no hard no foul. the moral of the story is .. who is to really say if you are cursed or not? The proof is in the pudding, or something like that. Just think, there are people that have gotten INSIDE of port-a-potty's because that's their thing.

And this is the caption for when you drank so much, you couldn't really remember the night before, but you'll definitely remember the morning after .. or the start of the rest of your life! Having a bit of the dog that bit you really doesn't help get rid of the hangover though. Stay hydrated!

I can't seem to find the original video for this song, where there are men mud wrestling, women dragging men around, walking in femme packs and putting lipstick on men in the streets, and of course a bunch of estro-babes waving feminine symbols so that Rambo explodes into a Marilyn Monroe clone .. all in an old school yet Road Warrior nightclub setting. It's epic but maybe you'll be able to hunt it down yourself.

I think I have the right link for that now. Hope you enjoy!

And the song .. It was written by Desmond Child, and re-written a year later to become, "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi!

  1. Both are fun. The AI image I would like to think the cursed one drank a very a strong bloody mary as part of the spell. The caption... Was it a body swap> Anyway, who could not resist a large pink drink.

    1. The first one was a curse .. but I was highlighting that what one person might think is a curse, to another, it's an opportunity.

The second one was .. I'm not sure. But I pretty sure the drink, or the alcohol consumption, probably helped trigger it. The plot for that is that he was confusing the transformation with a hangover, which in a way, I guess it was!

    1. Heh. You can never have too many Pink Ladies, whether it's Rizzo, Frenchy, Jan or Marty. All were hot!

  3. Dee, I’d like to think I’m more like the first image, but in reality I’m probably more like the second…and many women have drank me under the table so there’s that too.

And that Bonnie Tyler video is quite interesting. I completely missed the music video era, never any cable until the 2000’s. I only know the songs.

    1. Looking back at my 20's, I was probably a functional alcoholic .. but I stopped getting drunk when my 1st forever person came into my life, and when I got custody of my daughter I quit completely. I was also much prettier in my 20's!

Yeah, I saw the Bonnie Tyler video when I was quite young, as it was on Night Flight on the USA network. I used to tape the entire 6 hour show on our VCR, and watch it during the week. It's how I found out about bands like The Residents, Laurie Anderson, Concrete Blonde, Suicidal Tendencies in the mid 80's.

    2. My eighties experience was working full time, school part time, supporting my wife through nursing school, then parenthood in 1988. I don’t even know those bands by name but I might know some of the songs…

  4. Both are fun caps Dee. I agree, there are few things 'off' in that first image that make me believe its AI. Regardless of its origins, I think you wrote a story that fit it very well. The second cap hits that fun spot of 'unaware' that I like. You excel at those as you are really good at the 'in the moment' caps/stories.

And that song... OH MY GOD!!! How did I go 40 years without hearing that song before!? Thank you! It's now part of my playlist.

    1. Glad you liked them both. And yeah, that song is something, eh? I remember when "If I Were a Boy" by Beyonce came out, 18 years ago (?!?) I was like, "Oh yeah, but Bonnie Tyler did it first!"
