Super Bowl or BUST! Well, Perhaps Both?

One more week of preseason games, and then .. the regular season is back!

Sorry for that pregnant pause! Heh.

I found the image and thought .. hmmm, these two ladies (who I assume are part of the NFL Gameday morning show) .. looked great wearing leather, even though the game used to involve a pigskin. With the regular season now about 2+ weeks away (Sept 4, Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles) I knew I should make a caption that commemorates the upcoming season, even though the Patriots will still be more meh than good this year (2026 is our year back to national prominence!) and this picture was a good way to do it.

The whole premise was an excuse to reference a really old joke, by a standup I wish I could remember who told it, in reference to how birth control would be really easy to get and cost nothing .. if men could get pregnant. The punch line was, "Brady's knocked up .. again?" of course to mean, Brady Quinn. No duh, it was in reference to Tom Brady, who at the time I think only had 1 child. Now he's up to 3 official offspring.

Since now that Brady is older than dirt as far as the NFL is concerned, and I still wanted to use QB's with short masculine names and the letter B as the first letter, and these two fit the bill. And both of their teams should be in the playoffs this year.

Just throw in a few football / sex innuendos (in-your-end-ooohs!) and I've got a caption! I didn't use "went deep" or "penetrated the secondary" or "hit the hole hard in a two gap" as perhaps I'll save them for another caption, especially if the Pats can make the playoffs!
