One of Us Has Got to Go .. And We Both Know Who That Person Is!

Sometimes the roomie situation can get to be too much .. or perhaps it'll take care of itself!

I think everyone can follow this caption. One of the roommates is a complete geek, and not holding up their end of the rent, the cleaning and just about everything else. And the other is a much more model housemate, and wants the slacker removed from the premises. But only one of them has more than just Magic Gathering in their cards, but in their fingertips as well.

OK small background regarding this caption. About 2 years ago, I was dating someone with a late teenage son, who was big into Magic the Gathering cards .. I believe that was what he collected and played online. Me being the sweetheart that I am, drove him to a card store (Pokemon, Magic, etc ...) that also had tabletop playing space and some old video games (which is why I went with him) for sale. As an outsider, it was fun to watch the dynamics there .. as literally the manager was to me .. a big "balding with ponytail" geek in his 30's that was catering to a teenage audience .. while everyone else, mostly nerds in their teens to maybe 21 year old people tops, was treating him like an absolute God.

This guy would have been picked on at a Renne Faire, and this dude acted like he was an absolute pimp. It was hilarious to watch .. and when I saw this image and had the idea of a roommate situation .. this dude and his scrawny cock-of-the-walk demeanor came to mind, and that confidence is what lead me to have him be the one to be a victor in the whole flat mate dispute. That "man" would have the juice to make something like this happen, and I needed to see it play out in caption format.

If you didn't see the last post I made .. on Sunday .. you aren't alone. Google put it behind a warning, and I'm not sure why. I am guessing the AI found something problematic, and though I skated around it fairly well .. at least I thought I did .. it was blocked. No biggie, as it's definitely no where near a good caption, but I don't want to fall down the algorithm path to oblivion. Hopefully this post will go over a thousand views in 2 days like most of my usual captions do. Last caption so far after 4 full days is still only at 290 hits. Yikes!

I love listening to The Cars at least once a twice a year. Such a great power pop band with a ton of great songs.
