No Pressure, Son .. Shine! No Pressure at All!

Nothing like the fate of the rest of our lives or anything is in the balance here!

To be truthful, I hadn't found any images that struck me as something that inspired me or anything over the last 5 days or so, and it was keeping me from making a caption for yesterday, plus it's been a hell-week for a few of my friends, so they've needed all the support I can offer. I had some time this evening, and I hit up a few image sites, and this came through, and thank goodness it did, because nothing else tickled my fancy either.

But I like the story I whipped up, because it's something I've not really done much with, and it almost harkens back to Annabelle Raven's captions, that mostly dealt with family members, and usually dads and sons that end up converted into womanhood. There was much more acceptance of femininity in her work, but I did lean in a bit towards the end of the caption, where you wonder where Taylor's head is at. As a bonus, I am not including any likenesses of youth, so I shouldn't have to deal with any of that possible fallout.

I also left how and why the change happened in the first place. It didn't really matter to me in the long run .. hell, if you'd like to write up the background of this caption, and also what happens next .. and put it in the comments section, I'd appreciate it. I wanted to keep it vague, and that way, anyone that read it could shade it towards their preferences, since this wasn't made for anyone in particular.

And this blog is NOT sponsored by the department store that's logo is half in the photo .. Hey, I'd never turn down free money, but that's not going to happen. Though do LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to my channel, and ring the bell for notifications! LOL

Well, today was PI Day, and tomorrow is .. The Ides of March!

  1. Enjoyed this caption! Think I might have to go to that store and check out the transformer toys and see if they really so what is insinuated!
He Dee, don't worry about missing a day or two. Don't want you to burn out and then take an extended vacation that turns out to be permanent. That is happening to too many of our artists. (Becky is the most recent one) Zoe

    1. Thanks Zoe! I am finding that in general, posting twice a week is a good zone for me to work in. For quite a few years, I was posting almost every other day, and after making 2,300 captions, sometimes it can be hard to either get motivated, or find good enough source material to keep making new ones.

I didn't realize we've lost a few more captioners along the way. If I go, it would probably be due to not having a safe place to post the captions, like if the restrictions get too strenuous.
