Nature or nurture? Why can't it be both!?! They certainly feed off each other.
Well, this is a birthday caption for Jinny/ Unless someone REALLY wants a nasty one, I tend to go at least partially meta by referencing the actual birthday, and I tend to go easy on them. Perhaps heartwarming, or just much more mellow. It's a celebration after all that you aren't food for worms yet. And that is what life is all about, Charlie Brown!
Having something to care about, no matter how large or small, can make all the difference in the quality of one's life. And it also helps if we can connect with nature on some sort of level, even if it is just walking barefoot in the grass for a few moments. A time for ourselves and a place where we can belong unconditionally is a necessity. Those are things that matter.
And while we probably will not be rewarded for doing so by tiny magical creatures, those very things will recharge us and keep our world in balance. Cherish what is ours and respect what others hold dear. The good feelings you will encounter are palpable.
That was beautiful, hon! A lovely reminder of the seasons and the cycles, of the need to tend to Mother earth, and of the joy of rebirth.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Tried to tie it all together in a nice way.
DeleteWonderful cap.
ReplyDeleteI could imagine that fairies would actually seek refuge in Jinny's garden, even if she would only have a fairy garden.
Especially when modern living took away most of the natural surroundings that used to dwell there. Hence why they took to him/her and his/her generosity in bringing some nature back to the area.
