When Breaking Up Is Hard to Do!

Dirty Deeds .. Done at a Reasonably Negotiated Rate! If you didn't see it in 2009, it's new to you!

Well, I have been making captions for over 10 years now! By that, I mean, I don't mind most of the captions I've created since 2009, and it's when I started to get the modern design and feel of captions I made around this time 10 years ago. Anything else I consider the Proto-mential Era. Here is the original .. for your viewing pleasure.

This is the a bit simpler in design than what I'd make now, which doesn't have shadowing, gradients, multi-layers of effects, etc .. but it still looks enough like a work of Mentia. Ironic part is that I did use those things in captions before this one, but I hadn't gotten to the point where it was so codified. The first version of the caption you saw has what I consider to be my most up to date caption design set-up, I just did it so that we can have a side-by-side comparison. Just flip between the two and you'll see the difference that 10 years can make.

It still uses one of my favorite fonts, but as I got more detailed and verbose in my writing, it doesn't quite look as good condensed. Here in this caption, it gets plenty of space to breathe.

So, if you were wondering where Dee's brain was at 10 years ago today, I was making this caption for .. someone who's been long gone from the Haven. I'll have to look up their actual name there. It's only morph as tagged on the filename. Hmmmm, no names that start with that, perhaps it was made for someone whose name ENDED with morph. Now I feel bad I can't recall who exactly it is! Oh, It's probably the_Morphking. I knew it'd come to me!

I am not sure it's even been posted to this blog at all, so it could be a blog exclusive! Have fun commenting about the caption, and if it seems like a Dee caption, or if something feels off about it. Hopefully everyone understands the caption without a writeup, but if anyone is confused, ask below and I'll let you know if you are on the right track!

".. but not a real green dress, that's cruel!"

  1. I like the first one that has the shadowing. But I bet Stevie gets pregnant from the guy and has to stay a woman a lot longer than 2 weeks

    1. The "first" one here is the one that I applied my current 2019 settings for new captions. Figured It would be good for everyone to see the changes .. as such .. from 2009 captions to what I make today. Style wise, there isn't much difference, I think more now I can elaborate more and give secondary meanings and subtleties that I wasn't doing way back when.

And your scenario is interesting, as I'm not quite sure if he swaps bodies with the ladies themselves, or if he just appears to be a duplicate, like he's in a clone of her body. Maybe this is when he retires to settle down and start a family! Thanks for the comment!

  2. Sounds like a hard job. You need to get in deep to make it work, and you need to consider the long game. Probably a good idea to bring protection too.

As for the scenario, I assumed a crossdressing disguise, since you said the women have no idea he'd pretend to be them. In fact, that got me thinking . . . maybe part of how he ensures no drama is by making them love a girl with a little something extra. Once they've tasted that forbidden pleasure, they have no interest in going back to a regular girl, so breakup complete. ;)

    1. Yeah, either CDing or being a clone of them would be my guess, though I wrote it 10 years ago today, so I have no idea what my original plan was. I've probably mislabeled it. Oh well!

  3. Maybe the reason why having trouble with current assignment is because he transforms them into woman with his powers, but all the changing into a wonan he does on himself means that the female feelings are taking over and can't bear the thought if changing such a hunk so needs time to change her motus aperendi.
