Hailey? That Isn't Quite Cardinal Red, Is It?

What a long strange World Series it was!

Usually the losing team makes a caption for the winner but I was in a good mood and wanted to rub in my baseball teams good fortune on a TG blogger friend and I had a good picture to make one with. It was a case where I could put down fairly easily what I had in my head and craft it around the image I had saved beforehand. I think she should have to post this to HER blog, don't you think?

I've been making more blog exclusives lately and it seems to be a mixed bag. I made one for Britney I don't think she's seen yet but was well received, then posted a few propaganda vignettes that while they got a comment or two, really seem to have dropped off the face of the earth, gathering less than 400 views after being at the top of the blog for 48 hours! I changed the title this morning hoping that people would see that there was more than one posted, thinking maybe people could read the whole first one without clicking to make it larger and decided it wasn't for them.

I am starting to wonder if the stigma of having "Sissy" in the title is keeping people away from reading what I had to say. I am hoping that this isn't true because I like to think that this blog has so many different ways of transforming guys into feminine beings that people might try to keep their minds open, and not take sides in a "realistic" vs "magic" battle, especially since that although many of my captions could be implied magic, I have left the method so vague that its up to the reader to decide what actually had happened. I've had an increase in hits from Leeanne's blog, so its nice to see people make their way over from there and get a bit more into a fantasy based realm and relax.

Speaking of which, I think its time to get a head start on the Christmas Links Exchange. I will be thinking about ways to make it even better than last year, and your brainstorming is needed too! Got any ideas to make it even more inviting? Let me know and we'll get it moving. I would like to see us start gathering everything around Thanksgiving. If we get lots of people involved, we could try to turn it into a "12 links of Christmas" starting on the 13th of December, or we can do like last year and make a huge post with all the links together on Christmas Day. Lets get those thoughts written down!

  1. *Sigh*...you might blush knowing the things that I did after reading this, Dee. I'm blushing now, and I did them. ;)

But alas, you are right: it should be posted on my blog, and indeed, it will be in just a moment...with a follow-up, as well. Hope you like it. =)

    1. Didn't expect THAT much of a reaction, but glad I was able to quell some of the soul crushing defeat that was laid down upon your team!

  2. I think I am missing the point of a lot of the references here. but like many of your captions you can read more into it as you wish so enjoyed it on my own level.

    1. Yeah, this is probably one of those where if you followed the World Series, you'd have gotten a bit more of what was going on. Mostly, a bunch of Red Sox grew "playoff beards" WAY early so by the time the World Series arrived, it looked like a bunch of drunken Amish guys were playing for the Red Sox. Fans wore fake beards to the games, and had T-shirts that said, "Fear the Beards".

    3. I am a big fan of the New England Patriots .. which seems to be one of the most popular teams over there in England.

  3. Great cap, but now you have me wondering, did I use the right shade of red for the cap I made for you? ;)

The history of "Tessie" is impressive, and the Dropkick Murphys did a good job on it.
Don't forget to feed the parakeet.

  4. Fun cap Dee! I think the Tigers might need to grow some 'playoff whiskers' next year.

I wanted to reply to this post earlier, but was waiting for a good idea to offer for the Christmas Link Exchange. Sadly... no such idea has come to me. I of course would like to participate in this years activity and would love for it to encompass the 12 days idea. I just don't have any idea on how to make it better.
