Slow and Steady Probably Won't Win You This Race!

.. but at least you won't break an ankle!

Made this one for Jinny (Jezebel) who was looking for quirky captions. Well, I like to think that most of my stuff is slightly off-center so when I saw this picture, I had a good idea it'd be for her. Its not your standard biking outfit to say the least.

One thing I've noticed is that many of my newer captions seem to be more consensual, or at the very least, accepting of ones feminized fate. Not quite sure where that is coming from, though making one caption often leads to another idea along the same vein. I mean, it could be that the pictures I'm viewing guides me to the plot, and lately I've been seeing nicer, more glamorous photos than usual?

I don't mind though, since I've always been one to let whatever comes out from my muse be my sherpa, and do all the heavy lifting. Just the act of creating makes me feel good and lifts my spirits.

And what else lifts my spirits? PRO FOOTBALL is back again for another season! Can't wait until the Ravens play the Broncos tonight. I'll probably be posting this around half-time!

Getting to be either Pink or Faith Hill is a no-brainer .. I'd be either!

DISCUSSION QUESTION: Which athletic sport or activity do you think would be the hardest to make a TG caption around? Why would it be so hard to do?

  1. I would say shot putting or weight lifting just because the ladies who take part are not your best looking babes so who would notice the change.

    1. Well, there are always those stories about the women on the East German team taking steroids that turned them into men back in the 1970's so I can imagine ti might work the going the other way!

  2. Lovely caption, it's as sweet as Jinny is. The story as well as the picture.
Not your standard biking outfit? you live on the wrong side of the Atlantic;)

Could it be that the consensus and accepting comes from capping for the newer cappers at the Haven? There are several of them for whom becoming a girl or the fantasy of becoming one is a goal, a reward. Not a punishment. I noticed that capping for people with different prefs influences the way I look as captions, perhaps it is the same with you.

I think I would go for Pink, given the choice. Don't get me wrong, Faith Hill would be jackpot as well, I even consider her better looking as Pink. But if I see Pink move, I see lean, strong with an attitude. I like her body better as well.

I think everything could be made into a TG caption. You pretty much proved that.
Even shot putting and weight lifting could be done. After all, for someone who wants to be a woman at all costs, looking like a female Arnold might be an improvement, and for someone who only wants to be a sexy woman it could make a nice punishment.

    1. I think that being Pink would be much more fun as well, but she has poor taste in men. I'd have to make sure I could change that if I were to become her!

  3. On the discussion question, I reckon cricket would be hard to incorporate as, to my knowledge, there are few images of female cricketers. Also, it is one of those sports that, growing up with, I understand on such a fundamental and implicit level that I cannot explain the rules. Therefore, when people don't understand them, I have little ability to explain them.

And, again in my limited experience, non-UK residents tend to find the game difficult to follow and/or understand. However, I know very few Indians from India, Pakistanis from Pakistan, Australians from Australia, South Afri- oh you get the idea. I think a caption like that would be doubly difficult to do well as you'd need a handle on the way the game is played to get the sport in the caption.

Of course, I reckon you could just use the sport as 'frosting' and thus ignore the intricacies of the sport in favour of a straight transformation caption.

As for consensual captions, I have to say that I find them much more comforting, whereas the non-consensual are more devilish. I think that says more about me than the captions though.

    1. I haven't the foggiest idea how cricket works ... other than it looks like you are supposed to try to hit as many home runs as you can before something else happens .. and that the games usually take 8-15 hours to play!

    2. Longer even than that. No Home Runs though.

I'll confess that I have no idea about Baseball except that it is NOT Rounders. And that's about it. Cricket only has two innings per team in a Test (usually between three and fives days) or single innings in 20/20 or One Day matches.

And there you go. That's about as far as I can manage. :)

  4. Rules of Cricket...
You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.

Each man that’s in the side that’s in goes out, and when he’s out he comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out.

When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.

Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.

There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.

When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!
