The Inner Slut ... and hello, you out there?

Something I made for Dalene awhile back. She wanted to be a total ditzy stupid bimbo .. so I decided to give it to her in spades. It seemed to be exactly what she wanted. It is always nice to give people what they want, even if they didn't know they wanted it at the time. Mick Jagger said, "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need." Why can't they always be the same thing, huh?

Speaking of what I want and/or need, I don't seem to get too many formspring questions, nor replies for simple requests. Am I not approachable? Are people that enjoy my work incapable of forming a thought without using more than 140 characters (That's right Caitlyn, I'm talking about YOU! LOL) Am I not posting blog posts at the right time of day, and they disappear down the blog lists of other sites? I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong, or are people that apathetic to saying anything, or so passive that they just want to be spoon fed?

I had approximately 3000 page hits in the last 20 hours or so since I posted the last post. I understand that the discussion questions are often detailed, and don't pertain to everyone. If a viewer reads it, at least there is a chance they'll think about what was asked, and it stimulates thought.

However, when I ask for a quick little, "tell me about a TG blog or two that I should be following" I figured to get a good number of replies. I certainly hope to get more than the 2 I've gotten so far. I am not calling out the "regulars" because they tend to comment anyway, but the random people that visit and revisit. I'd like to know some of their favorite blogs, so I can check out some good stuff too!

I've been around the Haven for a number of years, but there are many people doing TG captions that only have blogs. It'd be nice to see some of their work as well. Maybe I can find some inspiration from what they do, and they can pop in here and get them thinking more about the big picture when making captions. I know that I'm a much better captioner now because of discussions I've had with Simone, Bren, Jennifer, Caitlyn, and many others.

Instead of a discussion question, I want to direct you to my last post again, regarding TG caption blogs. I would like to see some recommendations for blogs you think I'd like. You can even cut and paste the following and just change things that are bolded to what you want to say.

"Oh Mistress Dee, Goddess of groan-inducing yet steamy captions. I want to tell you about a blog that I think you'll like called Barbie's Bacon Wrapped TG Captions. I'm sure you'll like it because their style is similar to yours, except there is always a piece of charred porcine flesh shown somewhere in the picture, which always makes me feel so submissive yet tingly. Thank you so much for allowing me to brighten your terribly exciting day with my mundane existence. Keep on rockin' in the free world, and for goodness sakes, stop quoting old Rolling Stones songs! At least pick a somewhat modern act, perhaps Green Day or U2."

  1. Silly, silly Dee :)

When I first saw this question/request, my mind drew a blank as to anything I thought you wouldn't already know about or it not being too over the top in it's subject matter (I something think some TG-themed blogs are too specialized in their Kinks).

Still, I went through my list and found two I thought stuck out and I didn't feel like you had read them at some point. I didn't want to pick anyone who haven't been somewhat regularly updating.

I'll be surprised if you don't know it, bu Samantha deSavoy's TG Captions is one of my favorites and I think is vastly underrated. She tends to pick pictures that I absolutely adore and I her caps interesting in that they often are very short in terms of text. I usually prefer mid-length to solid-length caps yet she finds a way to say so much with so little. Obviously someone who lets the visual tell as much as possible in the story and that's something I know you strive for in a lot of your caps.

Another blog I've come to appreciate recently is a fairly new one - Missy's Sissy Captions. This is odd because they are pretty much sissy subject stories and I usually find those boring. This particular blogger's stuff seems to be a sum-of-all-parts type in that nothing stands out but the overall product is quality and are usually just fun. The caps are usually in dialogue format and aren't very long so there isn't much of an investment to read a few at a time.

Last on my list is someone who I think is a new refugee from TF-media. Transformation Style is one I recently found that has quality multi-frame story caps (think Smitty but only about 2/10's the bizarreness). Well-written stories heavy on transformation. You'll have to wade thru a lot of photoshopped panel transformation images, but the caps are worth it.

I hope this satisfied your overblown need to find new captions. I mean, honestly, Dee - have you not beaten the slaves enough? Do you need new ones to break in? Perhaps you should take them on a slave exchange program or a mistress convention and go watch one of those seminars about new practices in breaking in sissy pets. :)

    Have fun!

  2. U2 is a modern act?
(Cant say anything.. I prefer Led Zeppelin, Heart and Pink Floyd).
"Oh Mistress Dee, Goddess of groan-inducing yet steamy captions. I want to tell you that im not going to be lame and merely cut and paste what you have said previously jest so I can throw a few tidbits your way". Instead here are a bunch of good ones that I have noticed. (And they are still active)!

    http://tgjessiecaps.blogspot.com

The stiles vary, and none seem to use bacon much, but they are all still tasty TG caps.
That should keep you drooling for a while, as it does me. ha ha.

Oh yes and not to self promote too much, (actually exactly to self promote too much), my own blog:
    http://geofrey-ivenguard.blogspot.com/
is full of Tg caps, super heroine caps and other stuff created by my own humble and awesome self. (And if I could say that with a straight face then it would be time to lock me in a little white room).
    ENJOY!

  3. Ouh Dee how full of yourself you are today :3

I will say it again, just in case :3

Candi Came`s TG and TF Captions
    http://candicamescaptioncorner.blogspot.com/

I have fallen in love with this girl, she makes alot of sexy captions with interesting themes...

I would like to reccomend a spanish site too, but i think you don't understand enough spanish, but with a good translator you could make out most of it :3

    Anyway here it's:
    http://tgespana.blogspot.com/?zx=1a15127e2ceab36

There are lots (and i mean it) lots of captions in there dealing with the real feminine side of women, so you won't find sex in there (i checked so i think i'm right :3)

Isobelle's Captions: nothing to say apart that she is an excellent captioner :3
    http://isobelle-nichole.blogspot.com/?zx=662a3830251d1740

And also her thoughts about herself and the TG world are here (it's quite alot like yours but from her point of view) :

    Brenda bigs tits:

Lots of captions, lots of stories, doesn't post to much, but when she do you are for a good story ahead :3

    http://brendabigtits.blogspot.com/

I can only think that people are either too shy to comment or too lazy, just when you find the rights themes allure them with sexy caps for them or they have some to say them they comment :3
Honestly i would love to ask lots of questions, but i refrain myself i don't want to give the feeling of a stalker (who? me? i'm not following you, we are going in the same direction "giggle")
    Hugs and Kisses Alectra

P.S: Dee you are a bit overwhelming to be asked, is like an ant trying to talk with a goddess :3

  4. I would have posted some suggestions in your post yesterday, but I felt the same as Simone in that anything I know of, you may have already been aware of them.

Everyone's put up some good suggestions so far, so I'll go with Ashley from http://skylar123captions.blogspot.com

She's pretty diverse and makes all kinds of caps from bondage, forced, willing, to funny, cute, and erotic captions. and does them well. ^_^

  5. I've added a few so far, whether in the blogger list to the left of to the private blogs to follow section.

    @ everyone

for TG captioning, I mostly dwelt in the realm of Rachel's Haven and in the old groups at lycos and yahoo. I know there are hundreds of TG blogs out there (it sort of reminds me of the old days where every TG person had a personal geocities page.) I figured that it would be better to ask people that visit here what they would recommend as blogs they'd think I liked. It is always better to have references then to just sort of blindly wander in stuff.

Besides, if I've seen it, there is still the chance that others that are reading this might see something they hadn't seen either!

  6. Heh... I have to admit that I do find it hard to form a thought in less than 140 characters. I'll write a simple question down, and then realize that it is just too vague, so I have to explain a bit more, and then a bit more. (By the way.. that explanation was 178 characters!).

But that isn't why I didn't pose a question for you. I honestly was just out of sorts when requested it. End of semester and all.

For most people I think that viewing these blogs play into a voyeuristic fantasy. Following most TG related blogs is like sneaking away and reading your first dirty magazine as a boy. Its not something that you want to share. Your blog is a second step for many people. Its not just about finding a new juicy interesting cap, its looking through the mirror at the creative process. But it is still voyeuristic... they can watch and never be 'called out'. If they take the next step of commenting, or questioning, then they cross that threshold and are no longer secretly viewing the interesting and titillating TG world.. they are participating. When I first posted on a blog or website it was a HUGE step for me.

And another thing... I think that many put you up on a pedestal. You aren't Dee that crazy creative funny guy/gal that you can talk about TG caps, mental health, trips to staples, musical instruments, computer viruses and other things about. You are 'THE ARTIST' and 'MODERATOR OF CONVERSATION'. When I was still in my voyeuristic stage I couldn't imagine the artists being normal people. Even when they spoke plainly and clearly like you do here... they were a god/goddess that would be angered if I dared speak their name while not down on my knees with my eyes averted (and if any of you people who haven't posted here are in that same mindset.... just trash it. Dee is regular folk, and very approachable).

On my own blog, I don't expect responses from that crowd. Hell.. I don't expect many responses from the crowd that does respond. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE getting the responses/comments/questions, but I don't put it out there for that. It's like a blank canvas for me to talk about my work. If you want to see the work... fine. If you want to read about what I did to make it, or the other random things I talk about... fine. And if I move you to the point where you want to comment... great.

I still don't have other blogs that I think you should be checking out... but I don't want to give that answer twice in a row, so here are some blogs that I am currently following that I think you will enjoy:

    Missy's Sissy Caps
    http://sissymissycaps.blogspot.com/
Missy makes some very squirm worthy caps. I'm not sure if she is a havenite or not, but she does make caps with subjects that have been used before, but her honest straighforward delivery makes them all uniquely hers. (and of course I see it has now been offered up by Mistress Simone... I'm just to lazy to replace this with another one.)

    Lady in my Dreams
    http://ladyinmydreams.blogspot.com/
Beyond her funny creative caps, this blog mistress has some of the most interesting essays on the net. Her most recent example that got me thinking and laughing is " Less Cross, More Dreaming"

  7. @Caitlyn:

"giggle" How dare you say that words, you are an apostate "giggle" (while forcing her to stay in her knees)

I know it may sound stupid but if you find so hard to make a "normal question" then you should first write it and try to eliminate any possible wording (like conjunctions, unnecesary verbs, etc.)
Besides to say What you do for a living? for example i don't think you should write like:

I have been meaning to ask this, i know it may sound weird, but anyway i may sound like a jerk, what do you for a living in your everyday living?

"giggle" It's the same question "giggle"

I know i'm not trying to make you feel stupid Caitlyn, just trying to help with an evil wording...

    Hugs and Kisses Alectra

P.S: Thanks Dee for adding me to your blogroll :3, very much appreciated ^-^

  8. Hey Dee! Long-term fan, short-term poster, intermediate level lurker here!

I do have a very nasty habit of falling into the routine of not commenting, but I am getting help for it these days.

Right, as to my more frequent haunts, I have to second the recommendation of makingmaidens.blogspot.com, a truly exceptional set of captions, regularly updated and covering the whole gamut of fetishes... or should that be sub-fetishes... subtishes? Meh.

Secondly, I am very found of Havenite Totalditz's tismylifeomg.blogspot.com. Rather niche in terms of transformative outcome, but if you like boy-crazy ditzes, it's the place to be!

Finally, a little heavier going, there's sissifyourself.blogspot.com (only one 'y'). That site has a lot of stories gathered from cross the 'net as well as a lot of various articles about being girlier, changing thinking processes and other more 'realistic' bits and bobs. Good fun, but I do sometimes get a little squick from some of the posts.

Righteo... that's one more post and another step in my lurker rehab.... the first one is to admit you have a problem...
