I believe it has a disconnect because there is a big issue of impassibility. Most shemale images found on the web are of of a sexual nature. Also, most of these are of T-girls with obvious male features. It breaks the illusion and fantasy, especially if you have strong lesbian fantasies (which is often the case in TG).Mistress Simonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03830472323307586514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1870069212223825401.post-81988727653107662562012-04-09T23:42:33.677-04:002012-04-09T23:42:33.677-04:00I don't know that we view it differently, but ...I don't know that we view it differently, but I'm not sure that there is a word to separate a man wearing female clothes to feel 'right' but not look feminine, and a man wearing female clothes TO look feminine. To me they are both cross dressers. For instance, I have cross dressed in the past because I've worn panties. But I have no belief that I could ever look like a woman. I don't 'dress' for that reason, I dress for the thrill.

As I write in in captions, I write in the form that a man wants (or is being forced) to look like a woman. I don't believe I've ever written about a man dressing in feminine clothes just because, with no interest in how he actually looks.Caitlyn Maskedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02732033913089350905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1870069212223825401.post-11615188540922772302012-04-09T23:34:48.360-04:002012-04-09T23:34:48.360-04:00O.k... yes that makes more sense to me then. It s...O.k... yes that makes more sense to me then. It seems that this discussion is bringing up a lot of personal definitions. I always thought of a bimbo as an innocent slut. Nice and believing almost everything she hears, but still having that slut characteristic of going after sex. The way you define it I would simply call airhead or even child like.

With this information, I now withdraw my statement of you having a contradiction (and now that I think of it, I've abused poor innocent Dee Dee in several captions!)Caitlyn Maskedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02732033913089350905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1870069212223825401.post-47952955344847328202012-04-09T20:22:42.658-04:002012-04-09T20:22:42.658-04:00I also wonder if we view cross-dressing in caption...I also wonder if we view cross-dressing in captions a bit differently than how its defined in real life.

From what I understand, cross-dressing means wearing some clothing of the opposite sex. Not necessarily trying to LOOK like a female, but just wearing feminine articles of clothing.

I can't recall seeing many captions like that at all. If I have, I could probably count them on 2 hands.

Waring female clothes and appearing/acting like a female and hoping to pass would probably be more of the definition as we see it in captions, especially since we tend to use actual females in our images.

Perhaps we say "no crossdressing" more as a short hand of "I want a complete male to female change"???Dee Mentiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07798903090538917010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1870069212223825401.post-27841075864929705462012-04-09T20:10:24.824-04:002012-04-09T20:10:24.824-04:00As far as contradictions go, it was more of a maki...As far as contradictions go, it was more of a making sure you don't cross other peoples wires. I have seen "no magical changes" listed then a bit later on, they say they want complete change from male to female. There is only ONE way I can think of in which that can happen, which is surgical. As a famous science fiction writer said, and I am paraphrasing, any futuristic technology = magic. You says its an audio-molecular transducing device .. I say its a magical contrivance!

For the bimbo thing, I should probably elaborate a bit more AND specify in my preferences what I am referring to. To me, a woman that loves sex and has no problem getting it with multiple people and always on the prowl .. is a slut. I've always viewed bimbos as more of an abbreviation of "airhead bimbo" with not much going on between the ears, a overly feminine sense of style, and a curious innocence even when she is two steps behind everyone else thought wise. A slut knows how to play the game, while a bimbo takes things at face value. A bimbo CAN be a slut, but a slut necessarily isn't a bimbo.

Here is a little joke (I will shorten it a bit for clarity) I used to tell when I was 12 years old. I think it shows the difference nicely.

A young catholic school girl comes home and says, "Mom! Some boy paid me a dollar to climb up the ladder to his treehouse!" and the Mom replies, "Don't do that again sweetie, he was just doing that look at your undies!" "Ok Mom, I'll remember." The next day, she gets 5 dollars from the boy for doing the same thing. Finally on the third day, the girl comes home and says, "Mom, that boy gave me TEN dollars to climb up the ladder to his treehouse!" and the mother says, "I TOLD you not to do that! He just wanted to look up your skirt and see your undies!" and the girl replies, "Yeah, but I totally tricked him. I didn't WEAR any panties today!"

That to me is a bimbo!Dee Mentiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07798903090538917010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1870069212223825401.post-53705975498956054822012-04-09T19:33:41.663-04:002012-04-09T19:33:41.663-04:00When I read your cap, I pictured it as a pure cros...When I read your cap, I pictured it as a pure cross dressing cap. While reading it I didn't get the thought that Drew was ever going through a physical transformation. Just a mental one (which of course got him to try makeup, change his hair, and get a piercing). Shemale never crossed my mind. Now I could see in the future of that cap, it moving onto more physical changes... but that's what really works about your caps. They tell the tale of the moment, and let us fill in the blanks for future use.

As to your suggestions on how to parse preferences, I think you have great suggestions. I actually compared my own preferences to your suggestions and found them to fit fairly well. The only thing I do that you say not to, is offer contradictions. But that's mainly because I like full on transformations as well as cd/sissy/shemale caps, and want to list all those preferences (and I do explain the contradictions).

One thing that I thought of though, is that in a way, you have a contradiction in your own preferences. When I think bimbo (like you explain Dee-Dee), I think of someone out for sex. She likes sex, and has no problem with seeking it out. To cap that I think of caps showing male genetalia. The only time I've made 'Dee Dee' caps is early in her transformation, or only referring to her sexual romps at the end of the cap, but never showing it. I guess that means I have a question for you Dee. What about male genetalia turns you off so much? I'll admit that I don't look at a guys junk and say to myself 'mmm... I gotta get some of that in my mouth right now. I don't like it. But that is part of the embarrassment and humiliation that I go for.... looking at a woman going down on a man hits a nerve that no amount of words can do. Without the picture to give me that 'gut punch' reaction, the cap just falls a little flatter. I can understand it with Dee (as she is you, just female). But wouldn't being turned into a bimbo just be the tip of the iceburg reaction you are looking for as Dee Dee? And wouldn't that be enhanced with a photo?Caitlyn Maskedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02732033913089350905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1870069212223825401.post-6779891617711847522012-04-09T19:14:26.785-04:002012-04-09T19:14:26.785-04:00I guess is just come on the receiver's end bec...I guess is just come on the receiver's end because reading the story I was able to give it a perfect magical sense, unless you told me it was a crossdress or Shemale. :3

So given that point, I think the issue comes from the pictures... as not many wants to see a huge herm futa with a ginourmous erection. Unless you are Candy (aka oned eyed pirate) for example *giggle* I don't have a problem with futas, nor with draw art shemales. In fact I tend to visit Futanari Palace sometimes which is a forum that deals with that.

(I don't like real shemales at all... as captions btw...).

So I don't picture my persona as such. Therefore I'm not happy with the end result if someones attempts that. In my head I just cannot work that!

Now for crossdresser: It's a thing I'm diving into it recently, it's not like I get on action from it, but I like it more and more. For a story of course. :3 So my main issue comes in the pictures used and not in the stories per se.

Hugs and Kisses Alectra

P.S: I love my wordiness, so I'm not made for sales pitch :PAlectrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05098726295590695381noreply@blogger.com
